How May Procell Improve the Appearance of Fine Lines

This is the fifth in a 10 part series discussing how Procell Microchanneling may improve the appearance of a number of common aesthetic imperfections. We welcome questions and comments.

Procell & Fine Lines:

Regular treatment with the Procell device, Microchannel Delivery Serum, (especially the MD grade serum) and Procell Aftercare can contribute to a healthy increase in epidermal thickness and better barrier function that reduces the appearance of fine lines. Procell can also reduce  the appearance of pigmentary irregularities that make those fine lines more noticeable, further reducing their visibility.

Procell Fine Lines Anti-Aging

Fine lines can be a result of the uppermost layers of the skin (the epidermis) being pulled away from the lower layers (the dermis) as the quality of the collagen “glue” that holds the two layers together deteriorates as we age.

The diminished appearance of fine lines after Procell treatment may be attributable to the rapid deposition of high quality collagen, which can increase “dermal/epidermal adhesion”, meaning the epidermis more effectively resists the pull of gravity due to improvement in the “glue” that holds those uppermost layers of the skin to the deeper layers.

Procell May Improve Hair Loss

How Can Procell Improve The Appearance of Thinning Hair?

This is the fourth in a 10 part series discussing how Procell Microchanneling may improve the appearance of a number of common aesthetic imperfections. We welcome questions and comments.

Age related hair loss is typically attributed to 4 main factors:

  1. Thinning of aging skin miniaturizes follicles
  2. Decreased blood supply miniaturizes follicles
  3. Hormonal imbalances miniaturize follicles
  4. Genetic predisposition

Procell is the only service that may addres the 3 factors that are “treatable”:

  1. Procell may thicken both epidermal and dermal tissue,
  2. Procell may increase blood supply and lymphatic drainage.
  3. The cytokines in Procell’s Hair Regrowth Serum may keep the DHT molecule away from the dermal papilla, protecting the follicle from hormonal imbalance.
  4. Some believe that microchannel delivery of cytokine based topicals will be one of the modalities to one day overcome even the genetic predisposition to hair loss as we age.
